“I am pleased to inform you that ETSI SCP agreed the new VQFN8 SIM UICC form factor last week as ETSI TS 102 671.”

VQFN8 SIM cards are an interesting technology to create M2M applications like GSM/GPS trackers or medical applications based on GSM / UMTS / 3G smaller and safer.
