Symbian OS in M2M

We all know Symbian as an operating system for Nokia mobile phones.  Symbian is driving the 3G modem listed at http://www.gsm-modem.de/umts-modem.html .  Symbian is able to drive the pin compatible 2G and CDMA modem as well.  All this is possible because Telit´s 864 family is pin compatible.
